Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2016 Christies in London held the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, Maritime Art, Sporting & Wildlife Art, which included the work Dutch hoys in a calm by Hendrik Jacobsz. Dubbels. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,455.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrik Jacobsz. Dubbels achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A winter landscape with figures skating, cottages and a church beyond in December 2008 with an auction result of GBP 70,850.00 (€ 74,413.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, Maritime Art, Sporting & Wildlife Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dutch hoys in a calm von Hendrik Jacobsz. Dubbels zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.455,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hendrik Jacobsz. Dubbels erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A winter landscape with figures skating, cottages and a church beyond im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 70.850,00 (€ 74.413,12).
