Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hendrik Ijkelenstam could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Stilleven met schelpje - A still life with a shell changed hands for EUR 600.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by Hendrik Ijkelenstam have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in February 2004 by the work A still life with green box, a vase and a jug at EUR 1,195.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hendrik Ijkelenstam konnte im Januar 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wechselte die Arbeit Stilleven met schelpje - A still life with a shell für EUR 600,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Andere Arbeiten von Hendrik Ijkelenstam wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Februar 2004 die Arbeit A still life with green box, a vase and a jug mit EUR 1.195,00.
