Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Peasantwoman Doing The Laundry by Hendrik Heyligers was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of NLG 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of NLG 1,057.50 (€ 508.28) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Hendrik Heyligers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Playing with dolls in June 2002 with an auction result of USD 4,780.00 (€ 4,849.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Peasantwoman Doing The Laundry von Hendrik Heyligers kam im Juni 2001 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von NLG 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von NLG 1.057,50 (€ 508,28) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hendrik Heyligers auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Playing with dolls im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.780,00 (€ 4.849,84).
