Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work After the storm: travellers on a path in an extensive undulating landscape by Hendrik Dirk Kruseman van Elten. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,346.00. Admittedly, works by Hendrik Dirk Kruseman van Elten have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Well in the Heath in October 2004 with an auction result of USD 17,925.00 (€ 14,063.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit After the storm: travellers on a path in an extensive undulating landscape von Hendrik Dirk Kruseman van Elten zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.346,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hendrik Dirk Kruseman van Elten auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Well in the Heath im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.925,00 (€ 14.063,24).
