Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hendrik Dirk Kruseman van Elten could be acquired at Christies in London in October 2002 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work A barge on a Dutch waterway changed hands for GBP 352.50 (€ 557.59) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrik Dirk Kruseman van Elten achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Well in the Heath in October 2004 with an auction result of USD 17,925.00 (€ 14,063.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
