Auction result well in line with expectations
In September last year Bonhams in London held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work A market scene with figures in a landscape by Hendrik Mommers. The price achieved of GBP 4,845.00 (€ 5,514.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hendrik Mommers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Italianate Landscape With Village Women Travelling To Market With A Donkey; And An Italianate Landscape With Villagers And An Ox-Cart in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 23,300.00 (€ 32,626.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A market scene with figures in a landscape von Hendrik Mommers zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.845,00 (€ 5.514,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hendrik Mommers auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Italianate Landscape With Village Women Travelling To Market With A Donkey; And An Italianate Landscape With Villagers And An Ox-Cart im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.300,00 (€ 32.626,03).
