Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Zacharias Writing The Name Of Saint John The Baptist by Hendrick Heerschop. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrick Heerschop achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beim Arzt. in March this year with an auction result of CHF 189,400.00 (€ 190,828.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Zacharias Writing The Name Of Saint John The Baptist von Hendrick Heerschop zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hendrick Heerschop erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beim Arzt. im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 189.400,00 (€ 190.828,51).
