Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2002 Christies in London held the auction The Dr Anton C.R.Dreesmann Collection Old Master Pictures, which included the work A winter landscape with elegant company skating on a frozen waterway by Hendrick Avercamp. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 905,750.00 (€ 1,465,479.75). Admittedly, works by Hendrick Avercamp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Panoramic Winter Landscape With A Multitude Of Figures On A Frozen River in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 5,010,500.00 (€ 6,319,815.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Dr Anton C.R.Dreesmann Collection Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A winter landscape with elegant company skating on a frozen waterway von Hendrick Avercamp zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 905.750,00 (€ 1.465.479,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hendrick Avercamp auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Panoramic Winter Landscape With A Multitude Of Figures On A Frozen River im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.010.500,00 (€ 6.319.815,87).
