This artwork by Helmut Federle achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2012. In the Post- War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Geometrical work in yellow, red & black sold for EUR 25,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Helmut Federle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work September 30, 1955, which sold at auction in November 2016 for EUR 88,900.00.

Für andere Arbeiten von Helmut Federle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit September 30, 1955 beobachtet, die im November 2016 für EUR 88.900,00 versteigert wurde.
