This artwork by Helmut Federle achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2012. In the Post- War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Geometrical work in yellow, red & black sold for EUR 25,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Helmut Federle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work September 30, 1955, which sold at auction in November 2016 for EUR 88,900.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Helmut Federle erzielte im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post- War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Geometrical work in yellow, red & black für EUR 25.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Helmut Federle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit September 30, 1955 beobachtet, die im November 2016 für EUR 88.900,00 versteigert wurde.
