Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Minturri Rockhole by Helicopter Tjungurrayi was auctioned at Sothebys in Melbourne in July 2009. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 5,040.00 (€ 2,853.46). Other works by Helicopter Tjungurrayi have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 4,920.00 (€ 3,201.36) in November last year for the work Minyurri Rockholes, 1998.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
