Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In the cottage garden by Helena Maguire was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2003. The price achieved of GBP 88.13 (€ 128.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25.00 – 200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Helena Maguire - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of A Boy, Three-Quarter-Length, With His Dog, which sold at auction in June 2005 for GBP 180.00 (€ 266.77).

Für andere Arbeiten von Helena Maguire mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of A Boy, Three-Quarter-Length, With His Dog beobachtet, die im Juni 2005 für GBP 180,00 (€ 266,77) versteigert wurde.
