Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Bonhams in London held the auction Blazing a TrailModern British Women, which included the work Portrait of Laetitia Yhap by Helen Lessore. The price achieved of GBP 1,152.00 (€ 1,152.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Helen Lessore have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A View of Highbury in September last year with an auction result of GBP 5,355.00 (€ 6,094.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Blazing a TrailModern British Women durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of Laetitia Yhap von Helen Lessore zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.152,00 (€ 1.152,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Helen Lessore auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A View of Highbury im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.355,00 (€ 6.094,51).
