Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British Art, which included the work Mumps Station, Wakes Week 50.4 x 76.2 cm. (19 3/4 x 30 in.) by Helen Bradley. The price achieved of GBP 51,200.00 (€ 59,329.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Helen Bradley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Oh it's the King and Queen, which sold at auction in April 2019 for GBP 162,500.00 (€ 189,034.46).
