This artwork by Heiner Meyer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in October 2021. In the An Eye for Design: Property from the Dee and Tommy Hilfiger Collection auction, the work Mickey sold for USD 100,800.00 (€ 87,257.62) - well above the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00. This high result makes Mickey the most expensive artwork by Heiner Meyer that we have observed at auctions so far.
