Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Constructivo O by Héctor Ragni was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,369.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Héctor Ragni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figura, which sold at auction in May 2018 for USD 40,000.00 (€ 34,275.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Constructivo O von Héctor Ragni kam im Mai 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.369,84) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Héctor Ragni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figura beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für USD 40.000,00 (€ 34.275,92) versteigert wurde.
