Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Artistic Young Man No. 1 by He Wei was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 35,000.00 (€ 3,603.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by He Wei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bisulfite, which sold at auction in March this year for HKD 76,200.00 (€ 8,922.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Artistic Young Man No. 1 von He Wei wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 3.603,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von He Wei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bisulfite beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für HKD 76.200,00 (€ 8.922,24) versteigert wurde.
