Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spring Excursion on the West Lake by He Tianjian was sold in the Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in September last year. The price achieved of HKD 40,320.00 (€ 5,246.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Tianjian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rise Of The Brilliant Sun in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 6,680,000.00 (€ 752,602.05).

Die Arbeit Spring Excursion on the West Lake von He Tianjian wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.320,00 (€ 5.246,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Tianjian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rise Of The Brilliant Sun im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.680.000,00 (€ 752.602,05).
