Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by He Jiaying achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Contemplation sold for HKD 1,100,000.00 (€ 114,590.75) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by He Jiaying - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nude, which sold at auction in May 2014 for HKD 3,640,000.00 (€ 344,252.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von He Jiaying erzielte im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Contemplation für HKD 1.100.000,00 (€ 114.590,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von He Jiaying mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nude beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für HKD 3.640.000,00 (€ 344.252,20) versteigert wurde.
