The work Lotus and Dragonfly by He Hongyu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,056.16), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by He Hongyu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Flavours on the Lake sold at auction in December last year with the realized price of HKD 63,000.00 (€ 7,549.64).

Die Arbeit Lotus and Dragonfly von He Hongyu kam im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.056,16) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von He Hongyu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Flavours on the Lake im Dezember letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 63.000,00 (€ 7.549,64).
