Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2008 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Chinese Art II, which included the work Two Young People by He Duoling. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,567,500.00 (€ 129,181.82), 21% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by He Duoling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unknown in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 13,240,000.00 (€ 1,252,170.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Young People von He Duoling zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 1.567.500,00 (€ 129.181,82) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von He Duoling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unknown im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 13.240.000,00 (€ 1.252.170,09).
