A top price for Hayao Miyazaki
The work My Neighbour Totoro; & Kiki's Delivery Service; & Ponyo on the Cliff by Hayao Miyazaki was sold in the Contemporary Art Asia: Kid at heART auction at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 87,500.00 (€ 10,050.31). With this result, My Neighbour Totoro; & Kiki's Delivery Service; & Ponyo on the Cliff is even the most expensive work of art by Hayao Miyazaki that we have observed at auctions so far.
