A top price for Hassan Sharif - as previously expected
The work Weave by Hassan Sharif was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2021. The price achieved of GBP 75,600.00 (€ 88,810.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Weave is the most expensive artwork by Hassan Sharif that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Weave von Hassan Sharif kam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 75.600,00 (€ 88.810,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Weave das teuerste Kunstwerk von Hassan Sharif, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
