In October 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Emirianolympiad N 2 by Hassan Sharif. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 40,000.00 (€ 45,107.66), 60% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Hassan Sharif; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Weave sold at auction in March 2021 with the realized price of GBP 75,600.00 (€ 88,810.53).

Im Oktober 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Emirianolympiad N 2 von Hassan Sharif zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 45.107,66) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Hassan Sharif; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Weave im März 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 75.600,00 (€ 88.810,53).
