Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fantasia by Hassan El Glaoui was sold in the African Contemporary Art, Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Marrakech in December 2021. The price achieved of MAD 39,000.00 (€ 3,687.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as MAD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hassan El Glaoui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moroccan La Sortie Du Roi in April 2019 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 159,952.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fantasia von Hassan El Glaoui wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion African Contemporary Art, Modern & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Marrakesch versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von MAD 39.000,00 (€ 3.687,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit MAD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hassan El Glaoui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moroccan La Sortie Du Roi im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 159.952,24).
