The work Dancer by Hassan El Glaoui was worth GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,840.71) to a buyer in October 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary African Art at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Hassan El Glaoui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moroccan La Sortie Du Roi in April 2019 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 159,952.24).
