This artwork by Hassan El Glaoui achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Marrakech in December 2020. In the A Moroccan Winter Majorelle & his contemporaries Modern & Contemporary Moroccan and International Art auction, the work Cavalier - 1960 sold for MAD 39,000.00 (€ 3,412.10) - well above the upper estimate of MAD 13,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hassan El Glaoui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moroccan La Sortie Du Roi in April 2019 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 159,952.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hassan El Glaoui erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Artcurial in Marrakesch einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion A Moroccan Winter Majorelle & his contemporaries Modern & Contemporary Moroccan and International Art wurde die Arbeit Cavalier - 1960 für MAD 39.000,00 (€ 3.412,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von MAD 13.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hassan El Glaoui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moroccan La Sortie Du Roi im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 159.952,24).
