In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work The Line Of Love sold for USD 37,500.00 (€ 31,058.47) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Harry Willson Watrous; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Dregs sold at auction in October 2007 with the realized price of USD 67,000.00 (€ 46,309.10).
