Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2020 Bonhams in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work St. George Street, St. Augustine by Harry Leslie Hoffman. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,700.00 (€ 4,841.18). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harry Leslie Hoffman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Cotton Gin in October 2016 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 51,313.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit St. George Street, St. Augustine von Harry Leslie Hoffman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.700,00 (€ 4.841,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harry Leslie Hoffman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Cotton Gin im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 51.313,63).
