In July 2020 Bonhams in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Nassau Market by Harry Leslie Hoffman. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,200.00 (€ 6,964.50), 37% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Harry Leslie Hoffman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Cotton Gin in October 2016 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 51,313.63).

Im Juli 2020 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nassau Market von Harry Leslie Hoffman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.200,00 (€ 6.964,50) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Harry Leslie Hoffman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Cotton Gin im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 51.313,63).
