Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Road side by Harry Epworth Allen was sold in the THE IRISH SALE auction at Christies in London in May 2002. It changed hands for a price of GBP 470.00 (€ 736.03) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harry Epworth Allen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Crowlink, Sussex in July 2006 with an auction result of GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,418.29).
