In November 2003 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art including the Collection of the, which included the work Haddon Hall, Derbyshire by Harry Epworth Allen. The price achieved of GBP 6,931.00 (€ 9,949.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Harry Epworth Allen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2006 the work Crowlink, Sussex was auctioned for GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,418.29).
