Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Frosted Marram by Harry Cory Wright for USD 1,062.50 (€ 933.74). This price was achieved in the auction Amor FatiPhotographs Online at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harry Cory Wright achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dark Cliff in May 2011 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,864.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Frosted Marram von Harry Cory Wright für USD 1.062,50 (€ 933,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Amor FatiPhotographs Online bei Bonhams in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harry Cory Wright erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dark Cliff im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.864,41).
