Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Harry Booström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 8,000.00 (€ 852.74). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harry Booström - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Nr 6", which sold at auction in November 2021 for SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,926.38).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Harry Booström im Oktober 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 8.000,00 (€ 852,74) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Harry Booström mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Nr 6" beobachtet, die im November 2021 für SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.926,38) versteigert wurde.
