Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gracht met orgel, Amsterdam by Harrie Kuyten was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 16,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Harrie Kuyten have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2007 the work View Of The Thorbeckeplein Amsterdam was auctioned for EUR 31,450.00.
