The work The Way Out, The Night Out by Harold Sandys Williamson was sold in the Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale auction at Christies in London in October 2012. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,864.99), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harold Sandys Williamson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work There And Back, which sold at auction in October 2012 for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,905.79).
