Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Golf Juan Provence by Harald Mahrenholz was sold in the British and Continental Pictures auction at Christies in London in March 2006. The price achieved of GBP 252.00 (€ 361.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 400.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harald Mahrenholz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Red Bonnet, which sold at auction in September 2002 for GBP 822.50 (€ 1,307.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Golf Juan Provence von Harald Mahrenholz wurde im März 2006 in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 252,00 (€ 361,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200,00 – 400,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Harald Mahrenholz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Red Bonnet beobachtet, die im September 2002 für GBP 822,50 (€ 1.307,14) versteigert wurde.
