A top price for Harald Mahrenholz - as previously expected
The work The Red Bonnet by Harald Mahrenholz was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2002. The price achieved of GBP 822.50 (€ 1,307.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Red Bonnet is the most expensive artwork by Harald Mahrenholz that we have observed at auctions so far.
