Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 3 plates, from Richard Hamilton by Harold Cohen was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2006. The price achieved of GBP 780.00 (€ 1,125.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harold Cohen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstract Figure in July this year with an auction result of GBP 12,800.00 (€ 14,933.72).

Die Arbeit 3 plates, from Richard Hamilton von Harold Cohen kam im April 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 780,00 (€ 1.125,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harold Cohen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstract Figure im Juli diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.800,00 (€ 14.933,72).
