A top price for Harold Barling Town - as previously expected
The work Stretch #1 by Harold Barling Town was sold in the Important Canadian Art auction at Sothebys in Toronto in May 2012. The price achieved of CAD 42,000.00 (€ 32,821.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Stretch #1 is the most expensive artwork by Harold Barling Town that we have observed at auctions so far.
