This artwork by Harald Pryn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2012. In the 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art auction, the work A snowy track through the forest sold for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,451.06) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Harald Pryn; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A winter track, Bagsvard sold at auction in September 2007 with the realized price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 7,169.63).
