Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hans von Bartels could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2003 for an unexpectedly low price. In the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work A seascape at dusk changed hands for EUR 2,987.50 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hans von Bartels have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An der stürmischen Küste in May 2014 with an auction result of EUR 15,480.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hans von Bartels konnte im Juli 2003 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS wechselte die Arbeit A seascape at dusk für EUR 2.987,50 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans von Bartels auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An der stürmischen Küste im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.480,00.
