Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Three persons in conversation at an eveningparty by Hans Nicolaj Hansen was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in February this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 1,750.00 (€ 235.05). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Nicolaj Hansen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harpens Kraft (The Strength Of The Harp) in September 2013 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,976.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Three persons in conversation at an eveningparty von Hans Nicolaj Hansen im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 1.750,00 (€ 235,05) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Nicolaj Hansen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harpens Kraft (The Strength Of The Harp) im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.976,73).
