Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A church interior with Christ driving out the moneylenders by Hans Jurriaensz. van Baden was auctioned at Bonhams in London in September last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,008.13 (€ 2,285.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Hans Jurriaensz. van Baden have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Fantastical Palace With Elegant Figures In A Portico in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 14,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A church interior with Christ driving out the moneylenders von Hans Jurriaensz. van Baden kam im September letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.008,13 (€ 2.285,45) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Jurriaensz. van Baden auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Fantastical Palace With Elegant Figures In A Portico im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.400,00.
