Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A classical palace interior with Moses transforming Pharaoh's sceptre into a serpent by Hans Jurriaensz. van Baden was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hans Jurriaensz. van Baden - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Fantastical Palace With Elegant Figures In A Portico, which sold at auction in November 2005 for EUR 14,400.00.

Die Arbeit A classical palace interior with Moses transforming Pharaoh's sceptre into a serpent von Hans Jurriaensz. van Baden kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hans Jurriaensz. van Baden mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Fantastical Palace With Elegant Figures In A Portico beobachtet, die im November 2005 für EUR 14.400,00 versteigert wurde.
