Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Fishing Boats by Hans Jacob Hansen for GBP 2,280.00 (€ 3,370.44). This price was achieved in the auction Scottish and Sporting Pictures at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hans Jacob Hansen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Piccadilly Circus at night, London, which sold at auction in October 2006 for GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,757.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Fishing Boats von Hans Jacob Hansen für GBP 2.280,00 (€ 3.370,44) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Scottish and Sporting Pictures bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hans Jacob Hansen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Piccadilly Circus at night, London beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.757,44) versteigert wurde.
