Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Portraits And "Shan Shui" Series (Set Of Three) by Han Lei for HKD 18,750.00 (€ 1,743.87). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Han Lei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fictional Scenery (Set Of Four) in October 2007 with an auction result of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 11,145.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portraits And "Shan Shui" Series (Set Of Three) von Han Lei für HKD 18.750,00 (€ 1.743,87) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Han Lei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fictional Scenery (Set Of Four) im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 11.145,29).
