Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Portrait (Two Works) by Han Lei was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. The result of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 2,846.84) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Han Lei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fictional Scenery (Set Of Four), which sold at auction in October 2007 for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 11,145.29).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Portrait (Two Works) von Han Lei wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 2.846,84) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Han Lei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fictional Scenery (Set Of Four) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 11.145,29) versteigert wurde.
