Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cityscape by Ham Myung Su was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. The price achieved of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 3,913.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 55,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ham Myung Su - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Las Vegas, which sold at auction in November 2012 for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 12,394.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cityscape von Ham Myung Su kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 3.913,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 35.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ham Myung Su mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Las Vegas beobachtet, die im November 2012 für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 12.394,31) versteigert wurde.
