A top price for Ham Jin
This artwork by Ham Jin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. In the Asian Contemporary Art auction, the work The Village & four photographs sold for HKD 96,000.00 (€ 9,642.64) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. This high result makes The Village & four photographs the most expensive artwork by Ham Jin that we have observed at auctions so far.
