This work without title by Haluk Akakçe was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2012. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,397.08) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Haluk Akakçe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Incubation - Isolation - Transmission, which sold at auction in April 2010 for GBP 43,250.00 (€ 49,772.29).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Haluk Akakçe kam im April 2012 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.397,08) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Haluk Akakçe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Incubation - Isolation - Transmission beobachtet, die im April 2010 für GBP 43.250,00 (€ 49.772,29) versteigert wurde.
